activation expired after 1 day

I downloaded, installed, and activated the Beta 2 release this past Sunday. Unfortunately, windows crashed while attempting to install updates. I shut it down for the night, but when I booted it up yesterday I got service rights consumption error and could not log in. I rebooted in safe mode and the error changed to say that the activation period had expired. Is this a known issue (sorry for lack of details, I haven't had much time to spend playing with it), and should a reinstall/reactivation work for me?

I didn't have the issue of crashing but did have some catastrophic failures with my RAID card and had to reinstall, had no problem reinstalling and activating.
